Mogo is looking for a Closer. This position is perfect for candidates who aren’t afraid to get creative in dealing with warm leads and doing whatever it takes to convert these leads to close the deal. If you’re self-motivated to overcome any obstacle in your way in order to close, close, close those deals, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do:

  • Convert sales leads and manage relationships to turn interested people into superfans of the MogoMortgage product
  • Utilize your skills as a Mortgage professional to consistently exceed sales and conversion targets
  • Work alongside Mortgage Assistants in liaising with customers for necessary information, analysis, and negotiations associated with their mortgages
  • Review loan documents to ensure compliance and accuracy with loan details in respective jurisdiction of each customer
  • Interpret and translate products, concepts, and the legalities of a mortgage application to customers using simple and easy-to-understand language
  • Measure and report on funded volumes and funded ratios

 

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of an active Mortgage Broker license in BC
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales-focused role
  • Proven track record of success in all aspects of sales – generating leads, closing deals, and SELLING!
  • In-depth knowledge of personal lending, relationship sales and management
  • Experience using Filogix Expert and Morweb
  • A passion for being creative and selling an innovative solution to help Mogo grow and develop the business
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office systems such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience working in a high volume and dynamic environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
