Mogo is looking for a Senior Credit Analyst to be a key member of Mogo’s credit operations function; responsible for both the analysis of credit/fraud strategy & creation and management of strict underwriting guidelines to support significant loan growth. Check out the list of qualifications below and if this sounds like you, send us your resume - we want to hear from you!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Leverage data & analytics to optimize credit adjudication, account management and fraud analysis
  • Develop and maintain a standard set of ongoing reports with the goal of optimizing credit performance of existing customers and the effectiveness of kyc/fraud strategies
  • Manage credit & fraud analysts to ensure appropriate risk appetite application to facilitate loan growth in a sustainable & responsible manner
  • Lead the credit & fraud team with regards the Mogo digital spending account & manage instant load limits and fraud investigations
  • Work closely with technology team to enhance existing customer experience as relates to next best offer and our unique Level Up program
  • Key player to work closely with our Operations Service Hub to ensure conversion is optimized from a credit risk perspective

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years in a senior risk role (preferably within a bank or financial institution)
  • Ability to work independently, lead teams & mentor staff
  • Ability to comprehend and apply guidelines, rules & exceptions from a variety of policy documents
  • Demonstrated proficiency at analyzing statistical data & identifying trends (credit bureau knowledge a plus)
  • Advanced Excel & SQL/SAS coding skills required. R and Python a plus
