Mogo is looking for an energetic Executive Assistant to support members of our senior leadership team. The Executive Assistant will help Mogo achieve its corporate objectives by enhancing their effectiveness, providing seamless support and representing them to others. 

What you'll do:

  • Provide exceptional support to the Executive team and others, by responding to requests/needs in a timely and effective manner and proactively resolving any associated issues while representing each department professionally.
  • Deal with day to day activities ranging from the routine to the complex such as maintaining calendars, understanding the complexity and prioritizing of certain meetings, preparation of documents, setting up and maintaining filing systems, coordinating meetings, booking rooms and refreshments and overseeing full cycle travel requirements.
  • When required, provide occasional reception cover duties such as general administrative assistance, greeting visitors and answering phone calls.
  • Complete expense reports, submit and track benefit claims, courses, invoice approvals, professional registrations and any personal items on an as needed basis.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for inquiries about meetings, scheduling and communications.
  • Think critically about timelines and problem solving, proactively anticipating and initiating support as needed.
  • Oversee own workflow to ensure quality and efficiency (i.e. meet deadlines, be flexible in adjusting to changing work priorities).
  • Free up the senior leadership team’s time by reading, researching and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information and initiating communications.
  • Deal with confidential and sensitive issues requiring a high level of discretion and tact.


What you'll need:

  • Experience in a professional fast-paced environment, ideally supporting multiple individuals in a similar business environment.
  • Expert level computer skills, and Microsoft Office suite skills, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Outlook; multiple calendar management and comfortable dealing with multiple time zones
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to adjust style for various audiences.
  • High level of professionalism, customer service, energy, speed and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with a proven ability to effectively prioritize work flow
  • Resourceful, with the ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Thrives in a dynamic ever-changing environment.
  • Willingness to take on reception and general administrative duties as and when required. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record for being a strong team player
