Mogo is looking for a Web Analytics Implementation Specialist to collaborate with our Development teams to ensure that we have the technical capabilities to provide a complete view of our customers, and merge online and offline experiences. This role requires a web analytics professional with strong hands-on technical skills and great communication skills. What you'll do:

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Ensure that web analytics data is available to other systems
  • Design, develop and maintain custom JavaScript tagging as required
  • Validate tag implementation to confirm that data collection meets the technical specifications and business requirements
  • Design, develop and maintain technical documentation on analytics specs and solution design to create a shared repository for analytics
  • Assist in creating reports and dashboard that meet business needs
  • Proactively identify opportunities for the digital analytics team engagement in site tagging, campaign tracking and online site enhancements
  • Design the Data Layer and implement, debug and maintain Google Tag Manager

What you'll need:

  • Bachelors (or Master’s) Degree in Business, Finance, Math, Statistics, Sciences, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or other related fields with emphasis in quantitative methods
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in web analytics implementation 
  • Hands-on experience implementing and using web analytics and tag management tools like Universal Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with tracking implementation for web and mobile app
  • Preferably, experience with the Google Analytics APIs and integrating Google Analytics with a CRM
  • Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, data warehousing and web technology (HTML, CSS, cookies, redirection, iframe...)
  • JavaScript experience
  • Knowledge of DOM (Document Object Model), jQuery or other libraries
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work and priorities
  • Ability to clearly communicate with and persuasively present to a wide variety of audiences
  • Attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of Email, SEO, SEM, Display, Mobile and Social platforms
